The Tooth has its carbide tip tilted forward in the cut. Expert welding is done in attaching carbide tip to the tooth itself. This extreme care pays off, for it is most unusual for a tip to break away from the tooth (the fewer hours spent in replacing teeth the more hours that can be spent in profitable work). You'll also like the way they are machined perfectly so that they do not have to be hammered into the blocks.
