This Eye Nut is National Course threaded for 5/8 inch nut eye bolts. Galvanized. This will NOT fit tree rods.
Safe Working Load is 3,500 lbs.
The safe working load of an eye nut is approximately 20% of the published breaking strength if straight pull is exerted. Side pull drastically reduces safe work load capacity.
